Job summary

Stage Images Dance Studio is seeking a Tumbling/Acro Instructor to lead classes across levels for ages 2.5 through adult. You own the classroom’s safety, structure, energy, and growth, reporting to the studio director.

Responsibilities include teaching engaging, curriculum-based classes, maintaining order, guiding progression, and supporting year-end productions. Requires scheduling availability and a positive, professional demeanor.

Qualifications

• Experience teaching or leading groups of children.
• Tumbling and/or acrobatic training capable of teaching levels safely.
• Reliable availability matching scheduled days.
• Clean background check required.
• Preferred: training in multiple genres or recital/production experience.

Responsibilities

• Teach safe, structured classes following curriculum and lesson plans.
• Maintain classroom authority with clear expectations and warm corrections.
• Deliver age-appropriate instruction and track progress.
• Support performance readiness and end-of-year show activities.
• Greet families and communicate professionally at drop-off/pick-up.
• Arrive prepared with music and lesson plans each class.
• Coordinate with Artistic Director via Slack.
