Rocky Mount Family Ymca Inc is seeking a Gym Monitor to support safety and customer service in the gymnasium. Under the Healthy Living Director, you will monitor activities, enforce rules, perform first aid/CPR when needed, and help convert participants into YMCA members.

The role emphasizes clear communication with teens and adults, quick situational analysis, and dependable shift attendance. You will maintain equipment, report incidents, and uphold the Y's mission and safety standards daily.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• CPR/AED and First Aid certifications required within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Ensure safety of all gym participants.
• Communicate YMCA mission and convert participants to members.
• Implement youth/adult sports and recreation programs.
• Supervise programs to ensure safety and satisfaction.
• Respond to incidents; perform First Aid and CPR; document appropriately.
• Enforce gym rules and policies; maintain professional appearance.
