Job summary

The Salvation Army Kroc Center in Grand Rapids is seeking a Gym Attendant to supervise the gym, service desk, locker rooms, and activities while enforcing guidelines. You will manage check-out systems, assist with program check-ins, and ensure safety and cleanliness across the facility.

Applicants should have a high school diploma, and previous supervisory experience with children is preferred. Must be at least 18 years old and capable of light lifting.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or equivalent required.
• Previous supervising/coaching experience with children preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years old.

Responsibilities

• Supervise activity areas and participants.
• Provide information about programs, gym schedule and events.
• Maintain equipment check-out and check-in system.
• Enforce safety guidelines in gym and locker rooms.
• Maintain cleanliness of gym and equipment.
• Assist in class and program check-in procedures.
• Report equipment problems to Gym Supervisor.
