Job summary

Excel Fitness in Dallas, TX is seeking a Custodian to thoroughly clean and sanitize restrooms, locker rooms, floors, windows, and shared areas, ensuring surfaces are free of dust and handprints.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Custodial experience is preferred.
• Excellent attendance and punctuality required.
• Strong communication with internal and external customers.
• Team oriented, motivated, and well organized.
• Ability to think critically and proactively solve problems.

Responsibilities

• Thoroughly clean and sanitize restrooms, locker rooms, shower areas, and waste areas.
• Inspect and clean all windows and frames.
• Detail clean baseboards, walls, and handrails throughout the facility.
• Dust air vents, signage, light fixtures, and storage areas.
• Assist in front desk operations as needed.
• Follow cleaning lists and other tasks.
• Remove trash and manage waste from all areas.
• Clean gym floors with vacuum, floor scrubber, and mop.
• Operate floor scrubber and vacuum cleaner.
• Communicate with members to provide high level service.
• Keep storage rooms organized and stocked.
• Notify management when cleaning supplies are low.
