Job summary

Gold’s Gym in Austin, TX is seeking a Housekeeping Associate to keep the facility clean, safe, and welcoming for members. You will maintain the gym floor, locker rooms, offices, and common spaces, performing a variety of cleaning duties and coordinating with staff.

Responsibilities include cleaning equipment, restrooms, floors, carpets, and lobby areas; stocking supplies; reporting maintenance issues; and supporting a positive member experience.

Qualifications

• Clean outside glass and interior mirrors.
• Wipe down equipment, doors, and floors as needed.
• Empty trash receptacles daily.
• Sweep and mop floors, stairwells, and staircases.
• Clean carpets and hard-surface floors as needed.
• Clean fitness equipment thoroughly.
• Clean bathrooms, including tiles, tubs, walls, sinks, and mirrors.
• Dust furniture and fixtures daily.
• Clean management offices daily.
• Mop and sweep lobby floors.

Responsibilities

• Sweep, mop, remove trash, and dust locker rooms.
• Clean and sanitize restrooms & locker rooms.
• Toilets, urinals, sinks, mirrors.
• Showers and floors.
• Refill soap, paper towels, toilet paper.
• Clean out lint and maintain general tidiness.
• Buff locker/lobby room floors as needed.
• Clean Maintain and organize cleaning tools such as mops, brooms, and vacuum cleaners.
• Ensure equipment is kept in good condition and stored properly.
• Clean vacuum cleaner bags or canisters daily.
• Stock carts with linens and supplies, keeping them organized according to training guidelines.
• Pick up debris on carpets and perform vacuuming as needed.
• Report maintenance or repair issues accurately and promptly.
• Collaborate professionally with gym staff and management.
