Job summary

Qualifications

• Custodial experience is preferred
• Excellent attendance and punctuality skills are essential

Responsibilities

• Thoroughly clean and sanitize restrooms, locker rooms, showers, stalls, walls and waste areas
• Inspect and clean windows and window frames (interior and exterior)
• Detail clean baseboards, walls, trim and handrails; ensure surfaces free of handprints, scuffs and dust
• Dust air vents, televisions, signage, storage, glass doors and light fixtures
• Assist in front desk operations as needed, including use of Point of Sale
• Follow cleaning lists and other assigned tasks
• Empty trash and ensure waste areas are tidy
• Clean gym floors, rooms, and under equipment using vacuum, floor scrubber and mop
• Operate floor scrubber and vacuum cleaners
• Communicate with members to provide high level of member service
• Keep storage areas clean and organized, stock shelves, discard loose boxes and trash
• Monitor inventory of cleaning supplies and notify management when replenishment is needed
