Job summary

Cincinnati Children's is seeking qualified technicians to support the Translational Core Laboratory in Location S. This full-time role involves manufacturing, operations, compliance, and process improvement within a GxP environment.

You will perform SOP-driven procedures, maintain equipment, contribute to data analysis, and help train junior staff. Strong attention to documentation and safety discipline are essential for success at our Cincinnati campus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• 3-5 years of work experience in a related job discipline or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Bachelor's degree in a related field is required for Technician II, with 0-2 years of related experience.
• Bachelor's degree in a related field is required for Specialist GxP, with 2-5 years of related experience.

Responsibilities

• Manufacturing and processing activities following SOPs and protocols, with accurate records and training completion.
• Operations: maintain labs/equipment, respond to issues, order supplies, ensure proper storage of chemicals.
• Compliance: maintain documentation, provide MSDS training, safety checks, and management reporting.
• Process Improvement: create and follow SOPs, coordinate with QA, ensure quality and compliance.
• Training & Development: train staff, mentor, and assist in hiring decisions and performance management.
