Job summary

Eurofins USA PSS Insourcing Solutions seeks a Laboratory Operations Engineer to support GxP equipment and regulatory-compliant lab programs in Spring House, PA. The role emphasizes system validation, maintenance, and collaboration with global teams across bioanalytical labs.

The ideal candidate holds a science or engineering degree with 2+ years of relevant experience and a strong understanding of GMP/GLP practices. This is a full-time, on-site position with a focus on continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in science or engineering with 2+ years of applicable experience.
• Experience in GLP/GMP laboratory environments is preferred.
• Ability to interpret SOPs and apply regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Support lifecycle of GxP equipment: acquisition, installation, maintenance and retirement.
• Validate diverse lab equipment (liquid handlers, plate readers, PCR) per SOPs.
• Maintain calibration/maintenance schedules and service records.
• Coordinate with vendors, service engineers and facilities staff.
• Serve as system administrator for equipment applications and temp monitoring.
• Collaborate with lab ops for process improvement and cross-site support.
• Contribute to reporting, analytics, and visualization for operations.
• Ensure automation systems stay in a validated state across lifecycle.
