Job summary

PTC Therapeutics, Inc is seeking a Contractor, GxP Bioanalytical Scientist in Clinical Pharmacology to perform quantitative analyses of biological samples for clinical and preclinical development, including LC-MS/MS, qPCR, ELISA and MSD.

The role requires coordinating bioanalytical studies across projects, interpreting data, and supporting regulatory submissions while ensuring GLP/GDP compliance and cross-functional collaboration. Up to 10% travel is expected.

Qualifications

• Master's or Bachelor's with required experience in regulated bioanalysis of clinical/preclinical samples.
• Experience applying analytical techniques to regulated bioanalysis (plasma, urine, cells) using LC-MS/MS, qPCR, ELISA, MSD and flow cytometry.
• Knowledge of FDA/good laboratory practice guidelines and global health authority expectations.
• Ability to work on complex problems, collaborate in a fast-paced, matrixed team environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform quantitative analysis of biological samples for clinical/preclinical development using LC-MS/MS, qPCR, ELISA, MSD and flow cytometry.
• Develop, validate/qualify bioanalytical assays and conduct regulated bioanalysis.
• Coordinate and manage bioanalytical study timelines with cross-functional teams.
• Ensure scientific quality and regulatory compliance for bioanalytical projects (GLP/GDP).
• Support writing analytical reports and maintain detailed laboratory records.
• Present results and timelines to development program teams.

Education

Master's degree in biology/chemistry/biochemistry/pharmaceutical sciences or pharmacology

Bachelor's degree with 2+ years regulated bioanalysis experience
