Job summary

Staff One, Ltd in Racine, WI is seeking a skilled woodworker to craft and fit gun stocks, starting from high-grade walnut blanks, cutting and installing connectors, and finishing stock surfaces to bring out the grain.

You will inspect your work, repair damaged stocks, and ensure precise measurements with tight tolerances. Eligibility to possess firearms and a background check are required.

Pay is based on experience. Hours are 6am–2:30pm, Monday through Friday.

Qualifications

• Woodworking experience in a job or serious hobby.
• Accurate measuring and patience with tight tolerances.
• Must be legally eligible to possess firearms and pass a background check.

Responsibilities

• Machine stock blanks from high-grade walnut.
• Build and fit custom stocks to shooter measurements.
• Cut combs and install adjustable comb hardware.
• Shape, sand, and finish stocks to bring out the grain.
• Repair and restore damaged stocks.
• Inspect your own work before it goes to a customer.
