Job Type: All Shifts
Job Category: Machine Shop
Location: Wichita, Kansas

Responsibilities:
  1. Set up machines (calibration, cleaning, etc.) to start a production cycle.
  2. Control and adjust machine settings (speed, etc.).
  3. Feed raw materials or parts into semi-automated machines.
  4. Inspect parts using precision and measuring tools.
  5. Address issues that occur during the shift.
  6. Check output for machine-related mistakes or flaws.
Qualifications and Requirements:
  • Physical strength and stamina; ability to stand for extended periods.
  • Willingness to work with oil and grease.
  • Ability to read detailed blueprints of parts and assemblies.
  • Basic math skills, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division with various units.
  • Effective verbal communication skills with management and co-workers.
  • Proper use of gauges, calipers, and other tools and equipment.
  • Ability to identify proper materials and supplies per specifications.
  • Strong attention to detail, quality, and accuracy.
  • Dependability, including following instructions, punctuality, and responsibility.
  • Initiative and ability to work independently.
  • Effective planning and prioritization skills to meet deadlines.
