Job summary

Renew Cannabis Co. is seeking a Gummy Manufacturing Cook to prepare and cook gummy formulations in compliance with approved recipes, batch records and GMP standards.

You will measure ingredients, monitor temperatures, document results, and ensure proper labeling and sanitation across the production area. The role requires strong attention to detail, ability to follow SOPs, and experience with confectionery or gummy production is preferred.

Qualifications

• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
• Must follow detailed written instructions and SOPs.
• Experience in confectionery, gummy production preferred.
• Understanding of GMP, HACCP and sanitation standards.
• Able to work in hot production environments near cooking equipment.

Responsibilities

• Review batch records and production schedules prior to each batch.
• Measure, weigh, and verify ingredients per formulations.
• Prepare gummy base per SOP and deposit readiness.
• Monitor and maintain cooking, holding, and depositing temperatures.
• Record temperature logs and batch data accurately.
• Label, date, and rotate raw materials and in-process products (FIFO).
• Ensure cleanliness and sanitation of equipment and workspace.
• Troubleshoot minor processing issues and communicate to supervisor.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance quality and efficiency.
• Assist with changeovers and end-of-shift sanitation procedures.
