Job summary

Ourvita is seeking a skilled Gummy Lead in Largo, FL to manage gummy production processes and lead a team in meeting schedules with highest efficiency and quality. The role requires hands-on supervision, problem solving, and strict adherence to cGMP and safety practices.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in a lead/supervisory role for packaging/manufacturing.
• Ability to use calculator to add, multiply, subtract and divide decimals and basic units of measure.
• Basic mechanic knowledge to troubleshoot machines when needed.
• Communication skills (oral & written) - able to speak clearly, concisely and accurately in order to ensure effective department operations.
• Delegation - ability to make decisions on giving tasks/responsibilities to others as appropriate in order to maximize individual skill sets to maintain efficiency.
• Honesty/Integrity - follow through with company values and provide exceptional quality products.
• Problem Solving - works systematically and logically to resolve problems, able to identify causation and anticipate results.

Responsibilities

• Interpret Redzone data to assist in allocation of assets (people/machines) throughout the production department.
• Attend daily Redzone huddles to report operational status.
• Start-up assigned room according to Batch record and Redzone.
• Use proper cGMP documentation practices to complete all Batch Records and log books.
• Assist manager/supervisor in reporting requirements and assign assets to rooms to maximize output.
• Lead investigations and discussions about gummy manufacturing/packaging operations.
• Ensure production schedules are met and costs kept in check while maintaining quality.
• Provide quality and safety leadership to gummy employees.
