Job summary

Pharmavite in Alabama is seeking a GummiesRelief Operator to manage gummy kitchen/dosing equipment and HMI controls, ensuring batches meet quality standards. You will perform production, quality checks, and safety practices daily.

Qualifications

• Fluent English skills to read/understand instructions and to communicate problems to supervisors.
• Accurate arithmetic skills to calculate weights, fills, etc.
• Manual dexterity to manipulate controls and disassemble/assemble equipment.
• Mechanical aptitude to troubleshoot and fix equipment malfunctions, read gauges/controls/touch screen logic.
• Ability to discern varieties of color, weights, flavor, and appearance of gummy product.

Responsibilities

• Ensures raw materials are correct and transferred to kitchen machinery per recipes and batch records.
• Maintains sanitation and safety requirements for food processing and CIP operations.
• Handles raw materials receiving, storage, and inventory for gummy production.
• Operates HMI panels and monitors equipment, making real-time process adjustments.
• Performs quality checks on colors, flavors, weight, appearance, pH, BRIX, and temperatures.
• Assists in developing efficient production methods with available equipment and personnel.
• Uses tools to adjust equipment; operates material handling equipment as needed.
• Completes production scheduling and coordinates product variety and quantity.
• Troubleshoots equipment/process issues and resolves them promptly.
• Performs changeovers, disassembly/reassembly, and cleaning per procedures.
