Job summary

Pharmavite is seeking a manufacturing/warehouse associate in Alabama to support gummy production and packaging. Job description

Position Summary

The role involves the following key duties and responsibilities.

  • Loading, stacking, and transporting finished gummy products from the debuck area to the WIP area, properly labeling the dollies, and recording the information within the Master Batch Record.
  • Loading starch bags or drums into the mogul starch reservoir.
  • Organizing and staging products together in the WIP area.
  • Loading, operating, and unloading both starch and WIP trays through the tray washer equipment.
  • Operating and overseeing the Automated Guided Vehicle (AGV) robots from the product tunnels.
  • Selecting and loading tunnel drying recipes and properly recording them within the Master Batch Record.
  • Assisting in disassembling equipment and cleaning it in accordance with specific job instruction procedures.
  • Washing and drying utensils, pans, tanks, and other containers.
  • Using a variety of cloths, brushes, brooms, and cleaning agents to clean rooms where products are prepared and stored, ensuring they meet sanitary GMP requirements.
  • Performing all duties in compliance with safety procedures and adherence to quality programs.
  • Applying the Manufacturing Execution System (MES) to charge and yield products.
  • Maintaining routine cleaning logs and sanitation records.
  • Performing other related duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • No certifications required for this position.
  • 1–2 years of work experience at this level.
  • Ability to work in a diverse team environment.
  • Working knowledge of manufacturing or warehouse processes, or a combination of skills, knowledge, and demonstrated ability to learn, is recommended.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Manual dexterity to manipulate controls of scales, pallet jacks, and other equipment.
  • English communication skills to maintain routine logs and records, communicate with supervisors and others, and read batch records, operating instructions, and safety regulations.
  • Physical ability to stand for most of the shift, regularly pull, push, and lift heavy containers, and perform all duties safely.
  • Ability to interact with Automated Guided Vehicles via Human Machine Interface (HMI).
  • Ability to select and record programmed recipes via Human Machine Interface (HMI).
Physical Requirements
  • Stand or walk for the full work shift.
  • Perform repetitive job duties for extended periods.
  • Pull, push, and lift boxes, drums, and similar loads up to 50 pounds more than 50% of the time.
  • Push or pull containers weighing up to 160 pounds using a pallet jack in congested areas.
  • Lift and load 50-pound bags of starch to stomach level repeatedly.
Work Environment

Employees will be exposed to noise levels requiring hearing protection, warm temperature levels, fumes, vibration, dust, and cleaning chemicals. Appropriate personal protective equipment such as protective eyewear, dust masks, safety shoes, gloves, arm covers, and hearing protection must be worn.

Safety and Compliance

The incumbent must perform all duties safely in accordance with standard operating procedures and good manufacturing practices (GMP) without endangering the health or safety of themselves or others.

Compensation & Benefits

The salary range for this position is $37,000.00 - $60,000.00.

Benefits may include an annual performance bonus, medical, dental, and vision benefits, 401(k) match, and other wellness benefits. Overtime pay is provided for non-exempt employees in accordance with state and federal law.
