Job description

Position Summary

The Associate Technician is responsible for learning and understanding the assigned functions related to their role through hands‑on learning and adherence to all safety standards, cGMP, customer requirements and SOPs. The role involves developing skills to take on additional duties and expand capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Performs work associated with the safe operation and maintenance of manufacturing/warehouse equipment.
• Monitors equipment parameters (meters, gauges, valves, flow ratios, temperatures, pressures, and related controls) to ensure adherence to specifications.
• Resolves common equipment issues, troubleshoots, and adjusts equipment with guidance.
• Uses production information (MDI Boards, electronic platforms, etc.) to manage operations.
• Adheres to cGMP standards, completes relevant paperwork, follows good documentation practices, and performs quality control checks.
• Escalates safety, quality compliance, and equipment status issues and communicates needs or support requirements.
• Participates in required housekeeping (5S), cleaning, and sanitation.
• Operates material handling equipment such as electric hand trucks, walking pallet lifts, hoists, and participates in the daily PIT verification list.
• Conducts equipment check‑list verification of trailers before and after unloading.
• Participates in equipment changeovers, setups, parts cleaning and inspection, checklist review, and support in functional area start‑up.

Education

HS Diploma or combination of equivalent education and experience.

Certifications

• Must have or be able to complete PIT (Powered Industrial Trucks) certification training.

Experience

• 0–2 years of work experience at this level.
• Ability to work in a diverse team environment.
• Working knowledge of manufacturing or warehouse processes or the ability to learn recommended processes.

Salary and Benefits

The salary range for this position is $37,000.00–$60,000.00. Compensation will factor in geographic location, education, experience, qualifications, and job‑related skills.

Overtime hours are compensated for hourly non‑exempt employees in accordance with state and federal law. Overtime is determined by management and may require approval.
