Job summary

Albanese Confectionery Group, Inc. is seeking a production/support team member to ensure smooth operation of our manufacturing floor. The role focuses on maintaining sanitation, safety, accurate labeling, and adherence to HACCP/GMP standards while supporting startup, changeover and shutdown activities.

You will work a 6:00pm-6:00am 2-2-3 shift, collaborate with teammates, document daily activities, and help ensure quality across products. Strong English skills and basic math are required.

Qualifications

• Must maintain sanitary conditions for Food Safety.
• Must read, write and speak fluent English.
• Must have basic math skills (with use of a calculator).
• Must read and interpret weight scale readings and tape measures.
• Must lift up to 25 pounds consistently and 50 pounds on occasion.
• Must stand for a 12-hour shift with breaks.
• Regular and timely attendance.
• Must pass post-offer drug screen and background checks.

Responsibilities

• Provide operational support to maintain production flow in operational areas.
• Work cooperatively with team members and follow procedures.
• Operate and maintain production support equipment.
• Complete daily paperwork with proper documentation practices.
• Document materials used in manufacturing processes.
• Inspect products for non-conforming conditions and label correctly.
• Adhere to quality requirements and safety procedures.
• Communicate effectively with team, leaders and supervisors.
• Support startup, changeover, cleaning and shutdown activities.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area and sanitation procedures.

This position reports to the specific operational Department in Operations. They support work activities in operational areas as needed. They also support other operational activities in other departments as directed by management.

Responsibilities

Requirements

• Must be able to stand for the duration of a 12-hour shift with applicable breaks.
• Regular and timely attendance
• Must be able to pass post-offer drug screen, criminal background check and essential functions screening.

EDUCATION

• Must have a High School Diploma or a G.E.D.
