Job summary

Wing Aviation in Houston, TX is seeking a Lead Pilot (GV) to set the standard for safe operations, exceptional service, and operational excellence from preflight planning to post-trip paperwork.

You will command the Gulfstream V as PIC, ensure airworthiness, evaluate weather and NOTAMs, and maintain precise trip logs while delivering a refined passenger experience. Transatlantic experience is preferred and residency near Houston is recommended.

Qualifications

• Total flight time with PIC experience.
• GV type rating and relevant GV experience.
• Transatlantic flight experience.
• Strong decision-making and cockpit resource management.

Responsibilities

• Serve as Pilot in Command of the Gulfstream V and uphold safety for passengers, aircraft, and crew.
• Review maintenance status and airworthiness prior to each flight.
• Conduct AFM-based preflight inspections and performance planning.
• Evaluate weather, NOTAMs, and routes including international operations.
• Complete trip logs, reports, and documentation with accuracy.
