Job summary

Solairus Aviation seeks an experienced Captain to lead safe, compliant operations on a Gulfstream GV based at KVNY, Van Nuys, CA. You will be the standard-bearer for safety, professionalism, and passenger experience on domestic and international legs.

You must hold an ATP or GV-equivalent with 3,000+ total hours, including 1,500+ PIC, and be ready for on-call, international ops with a strong safety mindset.

Qualifications

• 3,000+ total flight hours
• PIC: 1,500+ hours
• MEL: 1,500+ hours
• MEL PIC: 500+ hours
• Turbojet time: 500+ hours
• Instrument time: 250+ hours
• GV type rating or equivalent

Responsibilities

• Lead safe operation of the Gulfstream GV on every flight.
• Review maintenance status and verify readiness prior to dispatch.
• Complete preflight inspection and proper documentation.
• Plan flights including weather, NOTAMs, routes, fuel and alternates.
• Operate under Solairus policies and all applicable FARs.
• Safeguard safety and comfort of passengers and crew; provide service.
• Complete post-flight and trip paperwork per procedures.
