Job summary

Solairus is seeking a Captain to fly the Gulfstream GIV from Oakland, delivering a premium client experience while upholding safety, service, and integrity. You will review aircraft maintenance status, conduct pre-flight inspections, and plan missions with weather, NOTAMs, routing and destination considerations.

Requirements include 3,000+ total hours, 1,500+ PIC, 1,500+ MEL hours (including 500+ MEL PIC), 500+ turbojet hours, a Gulfstream GIV type rating, and a current FAA First-Class Medical.

Qualifications

• Flight time and hours requirements as listed in the ad.
• Gulfstream GIV type rating required.
• FAA First-Class Medical required.
• Annual ICAO international procedures training required.
• On-call schedule flexibility is necessary.
• Residence within two-hour drive of KOAK or willingness to relocate.

Responsibilities

• Serve as Captain on the Gulfstream GIV, ensuring safe operations per Solairus policies and FARs.
• Review maintenance status and airworthiness prior to each flight.
• Conduct thorough pre-flight inspections per the approved AFM.
• Plan each mission considering weather, NOTAMs, routing, and airports.
• Lead a professional operation prioritizing safety of passengers, aircraft, and crew.
• Complete trip documentation accurately and on time.
• Collaborate with crew and support teams to uphold safety, service, and integrity standards.
