Job summary

Silver Air Private Jets is seeking an experienced GIV Captain to lead Gulfstream GIV operations from Teterboro. The role focuses on safe conduct of flights, adherence to regulations, and delivering premier service to clients.

Ideal candidates bring 3,500 total hours (3,000 PIC) and 3,000 multi-engine hours (2,000 PIC), plus a GIV type rating or equivalent. A First Class Medical and Part 135 experience are valued; CANPASS access is required for international travel.

Qualifications

• Total flight hours across all aircraft totaling 3500 hours with PIC 3000 hours.
• Multi-engine hours totaling 3000 with PIC 2000 hours.
• Turbine hours 1750 hours preferred.
• GIV time or equivalent aircraft experience.
• Valid First Class Medical Certificate.
• Part 135 experience preferred but not required.
• CANPASS authorization capability for unrestricted travel.

Responsibilities

• Review maintenance status to ensure airworthiness.
• Perform pre-flight inspection per Aircraft Flight Manual.
• Assess weather and route facilities, including alternates.
• Ensure operations comply with Silver Air procedures and FAA regs.
• Ensure the safety of passengers, aircraft and crew.
• Complete trip paperwork accurately.
