The Opportunity
As Captain, you hold final responsibility for safe, compliant, and efficient operation of the G700 while delivering a polished, owner-centric experience. You’ll lead a highly professional crew, uphold company standards and SOPs, and represent EJM with integrity on every mission—including international operations.
What You’ll Do
- Exercise final authority for aircraft safety, regulatory compliance, and operational efficiency.
- Ensure crew and trip assignments comply with company policies and FAA requirements.
- Complete flight planning, aircraft performance, and weight-and-balance calculations.
- Lead Threats, Plans, and Considerations briefings; adhere to company SOPs and best practices.
- Coordinate with internal teams and crew to deliver a seamless experience for owners and passengers.
- Serve as Ground Security and In-Flight Security Coordinator; verify maintenance status and mission readiness.
- Record discrepancies and monitor fueling, oil, oxygen, and other ground servicing.
- Deliver required passenger briefings; accommodate special needs; investigate and resolve service deviations.
- Communicate clearly during normal, abnormal, and emergency operations using CRM and TEM.
- Maintain required training and currency; actively participate in the company Safety Management System and report safety/compliance concerns.
What You Bring
- Certificates/Type: FAA type rating applicable to the fleet; G700 type strongly preferred (G500/G600 considered).
- Flight Time Minimums:
- 3,500 hours total time
- 1,500 hours multi-engine land
- 2,000 hours as Pilot in Command
- 500 hours as PIC in multi-engine land aircraft
- 500 hours of jet time
- 300 hours of instrument time
- Extensive international flight experience highly competitive.
- Prior corporate/business aviation experience preferred.
- Ability to perform all essential functions of the role.
- Willing to live—or relocate—within one hour of OPF; commuting is not permitted.
- Successful completion of pre-employment drug screening and background checks.
