Job summary

EJM is seeking a Captain to oversee the safe, compliant operation of the G700 and deliver an owner-centric experience. You will lead a professional crew, enforce SOPs, and represent the company with integrity on every mission, including international flights.

Requirements include FAA type rating (G700 preferred), extensive flight hours, and willingness to live near OPF. Expect competitive pay and comprehensive benefits as part of a premier corporate aviation team.

Qualifications

  • FAA type rating applicable to the fleet; G700 type strongly preferred (G500/G600 considered).
  • 3,500 hours total time
  • 1,500 hours multi-engine land
  • 2,000 hours as PIC
  • 500 hours as PIC in multi-engine land aircraft
  • 500 hours of jet time
  • 300 hours of instrument time
  • Extensive international flight experience highly competitive.
  • Prior corporate/business aviation experience preferred.
  • Ability to perform all essential functions of the role.
  • Willing to live—or relocate—within one hour of OPF; commuting is not permitted.
  • Successful completion of pre-employment drug screening and background checks.

Responsibilities

  • Exercise final authority for aircraft safety, regulatory compliance, and operational efficiency.
  • Ensure crew and trip assignments comply with company policies and FAA requirements.
  • Complete flight planning, aircraft performance, and weight-and-balance calculations.
  • Lead Threats, Plans, and Considerations briefings; adhere to SOPs and best practices.
  • Coordinate with internal teams and crew to deliver a seamless experience for owners and passengers.
  • Serve as Ground Security and In-Flight Security Coordinator; verify maintenance status and mission readiness.
  • Record discrepancies and monitor fueling, oil, oxygen, and other ground servicing.
  • Deliver required passenger briefings; accommodate special needs; investigate and resolve service deviations.
  • Communicate clearly during normal, abnormal, and emergency operations using CRM and TEM.
  • Maintain required training and currency; actively participate in the Safety Management System and report safety/compliance concerns.
