Job summary

Solairus Aviation is seeking a Full-Time Gulfstream G450 & G550 Captain to join an operation at the KAUS airport in Austin, TX. The role focuses on safe, professional flight operations and adherence to Solairus’ culture of safety, service, and integrity.

The ideal candidate will hold Gulfstream G450/G550 type ratings with extensive jet time, be able to work on-call, and perform rigorous pre-flight checks, route planning, and trip paperwork while maintaining the highest safety standards.

Qualifications

• Total time = 3000 hours.
• PIC = 1500 hours.
• MEL = 1500 hours.
• MEL PIC = 500 hours.
• Time in Turbo Jet = 500 hours.
• Instrument = 250 hours.

Responsibilities

• Operate Gulfstream G450/G550 safely and professionally.
• Review maintenance status of the aircraft prior to flight.
• Conduct thorough pre-flight inspections per Aircraft Flight Manual.
• Assess weather, route, and alternate airports for planned flights.
• Ensure operations comply with Solairus Aviation procedures and FARs.
• Complete trip paperwork accurately and in accordance with procedures.
