Job summary

Solairus Aviation is seeking a Captain for the Gulfstream G450 based near Camarillo (KCMA). You will lead flight operations with safety, compliance, and client-first service, planning thoroughly and executing to the highest standards on every leg.

Responsibilities include acting as Captain, reviewing maintenance, conducting pre-flight inspections, planning missions, and ensuring compliance with FARs and Solairus policies. You will maintain proficiency and support an on-call schedule.

Qualifications

• Total time: 3,000 hours.
• PIC: 1,500 hours.
• MEL: 1,500 hours.
• MEL PIC: 500 hours.
• Turbojet time: 500 hours.
• Instrument time: 250 hours.
• G450 type rating or equivalent.
• Current first-class medical.
• Annual ICAO procedures training.
• Relocation within two hours of KCMA or willing to relocate.
• On-call operational availability.

Responsibilities

• Act as Captain of the Gulfstream G450, ensuring safety of passengers, aircraft, and crew.
• Review aircraft maintenance status and airworthiness prior to flight.
• Conduct pre-flight inspections per Aircraft Flight Manual.
• Plan and brief each mission: weather, facilities, route, alternates.
• Operate in compliance with Solairus Aviation policies and FARs.
• Complete all trip documentation accurately and promptly.
• Maintain currency and proficiency, including ICAO procedures training annually.
• Support an on-call schedule with client and team communication.
