Job summary

CAE, a global leader in aviation training, seeks a Gulfstream Avionics Training Instructor to join our Maintenance Training Center of Excellence. You will deliver classroom and hands-on training, assess learners, maintain records, and act as SME for courseware and materials.

The role requires Gulfstream avionics experience, a current aviation license, and strong English communication. You will travel globally up to 40% and collaborate across teams to enhance training content.

Qualifications

• Hands-on Gulfstream avionics experience (G500/600/650/G700).
• Strong avionics maintenance experience.
• FAA A&P, Transport Canada AME, EASA, or equivalent license.
• Excellent verbal and written English communication.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and internet tools.
• Customer-service orientation and passion for knowledge sharing.
• Willingness to travel globally 30–40%.
• Ability to work independently and within a global team.

Responsibilities

• Deliver classroom and hands-on aircraft maintenance training using aircraft, training devices, and simulation tools.
• Administer theoretical and practical assessments.
• Maintain accurate customer training records.
• Act as SME in development and maintenance of instructor guides and courseware.
• Support development of new training courses and instructional modules.
• Prepare training environments and materials prior to sessions.
• Maintain proficiency and complete recurrent training.
• Deliver a professional, engaging, customer-focused learning experience.
• Collaborate with internal teams to improve content and delivery methods.
