Job summary

Zekai is seeking Gujarati Transcription Experts for a 100% remote contractor role. You will transcribe Gujarati audio into written text, review for accuracy, and annotate linguistic nuances.

You will collaborate with project coordinators and maintain consistent formatting across all submissions. Scope of Work:

• Listen to and accurately transcribe audio content in Gujarati into written text, ensuring language authenticity and contextual integrity.
• Review, proofread, and edit transcriptions for clarity, grammatical accuracy, and fidelity to the original audio.
• Annotate linguistic nuances, cultural references, or regional dialects present in the source material.
• Collaborate with project coordinators and provide feedback on transcription guidelines and tools.
• Maintain consistency in style, formatting, and terminology across all assigned submissions.
• Meet established project milestones and deliverables in accordance with outlined requirements.
• Provide timely written and verbal communication regarding project progress, queries, or potential issues.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Native or near-native proficiency in spoken and written Gujarati, with deep familiarity with regional variations.
