Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Linguistics, Gujarati/English Literature, Communications, Journalism, Translation, or related field.
• Native or near-native Gujarati proficiency (reading and writing).
• Strong professional English proficiency (C1).
• 3+ years of language-focused work (writing, editing, QA, translation, or journalism).
• Deep understanding of Gujarati grammar, spelling, and style.
• Ability to handle formal/informal registers across India and diaspora.
• High attention to detail and ability to deliver consistent quality remotely.
• Prior experience with AI data training, annotation, or rubric-based evaluation preferred.

Responsibilities

• Review and quality-check existing translations of English science benchmark questions (ARC) in Gujarati.
• Compare original translations and AI corrections against the English source, focusing on accuracy and faithfulness.
