Are you fluent in both English and Gujarati? Do you have experience working as an interpreter? LTC is an interpreting agency looking for contracted Gujarati language interpreters in Indianapolis. You will accept appointments on an as-needed basis. The ideal interpreter has 3 years of interpreting experience and has worked in various settings such as medical, social work, education, and workplace environments.

Responsibilities include:

• Providing on-site, in-person interpretation.
• Serving as a liaison using the client’s preferred language.
• Accurately interpreting according to the setting and audience.
• Complying with all relevant laws and regulations regarding privacy and confidentiality, including HIPAA.

Requirements:

• Interpreting certifications (preferred).
• Minimum of 2 years of medical interpreting experience.
• Minimum of 3 years of interpreting experience overall.
• Ability to keep accurate records.

This position is for an Independent Contractor. You will not be an employee of LTC but a vendor providing language interpretation services on an IRS Form 1099 basis.

Candidate must reside within commuting distance of Indianapolis, IN.
