Job summary

Fender Musical Instruments Corporation in Corona, CA is seeking a dedicated Machine Operator to support the Body Mill operations, including setup and changeovers on punch presses, CNCs, mills, routers and related equipment.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent plus 2 years of related machining experience; reading blueprints, measurement tools and safety procedures are essential. Applicants should be able to work overtime and maintain quality standards on the production line.

Qualifications

• Must have high school diploma or equivalent and 2 years of related experience.
• Ability to read blueprints and job orders for specifications and dimensions.
• Physical ability to stand, walk, lift, twist, pull, carry, squat and reach.
• Experience in machinery, metal bending or fabrication, machine shop, drilling or cutting is preferred.
• Guitar or musical background is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Ensures own production conforms to quality and schedule requirements.
• Inspects input/output quality on all units processed.
• Follows approved procedures to complete tasks.
• Maintains a clean and organized work area.
• Handles and stores regulated materials per policy and regulations.
• Fills in for absenteeism and assists with workload to maintain product flow.
• Ability to work overtime as business needs dictate.
• Wears personal protective equipment as required.
• Inspects parts for proper size and dimensions.
• Cleans and maintains equipment regularly.
• Take tool inventory at shift start and end.
• Additional duties as assigned.
