Job Description / Responsibilities

Provide private music instruction primarily in Guitar. Lessons may take place in students’ homes, the instructor’s own home or studio, or via webcam. In‑person lessons are preferred; local instructors must be able to host students or travel within the Peoria area.

Maintain punctuality and organization for all scheduled lessons and communicate regularly with studio office regarding lesson scheduling and student progress.

Follow safety protocols: wear a mask, sanitize hands, and practice social distancing when applicable.

Qualifications

Formal music training is not mandatory, but candidates must possess one of the following:

• Degree in Music
• Enrollment in a Music Program
• Professional Performing Experience
• Previous Teaching Experience

Candidates should work well with children, love teaching, maintain good communication, and be organized and on time for all lessons.
