Associated Recreation Council (ARC) is seeking a part-time Guitar Instructor for Ballard Community Center in Seattle. The role runs weekday evenings (4-7pm) starting January 2027, with a pay range of $29.00–$39.00/hour. Responsibilities include teaching beginner/intermediate guitar, planning lessons, and fostering an inclusive learning environment.

The role emphasizes safety, hands-on practice, and progress monitoring, with additional benefits and inclusive employment practices through ARC.

If you have experience and a passion for playing and teaching guitar lessons, Associated Recreation Council (ARC) has an amazing role for you as a Guitar Instructor. This is a part-time role at Ballard community Center.ARC, in partnership with Seattle Parks and Recreation, serves Seattle by offering access to licensed childcare and a variety of recreational and lifelong learning programs, classes, and activities. In this role, the Guitar Instructor will be responsible for engaging participants and teaching guitar lessons to them.
