Description

Client is seeking an experienced UAT Test Lead with expertise in Guidewire insurance platform to join immediately on a Contract to hire basis. They just executed their 1st sprint and need a UAT Lead to come in to define and developer a UAT strategy for the continuous work in pipeline for Policy Center and JUTRO (Digital Platform) of Guidewire. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading User Acceptance Testing (UAT) activities for our Guidewire-based insurance systems, ensuring that all system changes meet business requirements and are thoroughly tested. This is a key role that requires strong technical, analytical, and leadership skills to ensure the successful delivery of business-critical projects.

Key Responsibilities:

· UAT Test Planning:

o Develop and execute comprehensive UAT test plans, test cases, and test scripts to ensure Guidewire system changes meet business requirements.

o Identify and prioritize testing requirements, and collaborate with stakeholders to ensure testing scope is aligned with business objectives.

· Test Case Development:

o Create detailed test cases and test scripts to validate Guidewire system functionality, including policy, claims, billing, and other insurance-specific processes.

o Ensure test cases cover all aspects of system changes, including functional, integrations, and data migration testing.

· Test Environment Setup:

o Coordinate with IT teams to set up and configure UAT test environments, including Guidewire system instances, data sources, and testing tools.

o Ensure test environments are adequately sized and configured to support testing requirements.

· UAT Testing:

o Lead and coordinate UAT testing activities, including testing, defect reporting, and defect tracking.

o Collaborate with business stakeholders, IT teams, and vendors to identify and resolve UAT defects and issues.

· Defect Management:

o Develop and implement defect management processes to ensure efficient defect reporting, tracking, and resolution.

o Collaborate with IT teams to troubleshoot and resolve defects, and ensure defects are properly documented and tracked.

· Test Automation:

o Identify opportunities for test automation, and collaborate with IT teams to develop and implement automated testing scripts.

o Ensure automated testing scripts are properly maintained and updated to reflect system changes.

The pay range for this position is $80.00 - $87.00/hr.
