Job summary

EY in the United States is seeking a technology-focused consultant to help transform insurance business problems into technology solutions. You will work with client teams on claims, underwriting, policy and billing transformation, leveraging leading insurance tech platforms and data architecture.

You will advise across project lifecycles, collaborate with diverse professionals, and travel to client sites as needed. EY offers a hybrid, client‑centric environment with strong total rewards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Technology or a related field; 3 years of relevant work experience at a Property and Casualty Insurance carrier or consulting firm
• Or a master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Technology or a related field with 2 years of relevant work experience
• Experience with required insurance tech platforms (Guidewire, OneShield, Exigen/EIS, Majesco, Duck Creek, Insurity, Sapiens/Adaptik, FirstBest)
• Proficiency in system selection, requirement definition, architecture design, configuration/integration, data mapping and migration
• Experience in end-to-end implementation lifecycle and code optimization methodologies
• Excellent written and verbal communication; ability to research regulations and new technologies
• Willingness to travel to client sites

Responsibilities

• Transform business problems into technology solutions with clients.
• Analyze business requirements for alignment with architecture and implementation plans.
• Assist engagement teams through data mapping, conversion, and testing.
• Support remediation and mitigation of process risk during implementations
