Job Title: Guidewire ETL Data Lead (Property & Casualty Insurance)

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled ETL Lead Developer with extensive experience in Guidewire DataMart and the Property and Casualty (P&C) insurance domain. The ideal candidate will lead the design, development, and optimization of data integration processes using Microsoft Azure and Guidewire applications, ensuring high-quality, secure, and efficient data delivery to support critical business intelligence needs.

Minimum Qualifications:

• 10+ years of experience in ETL processes and data warehousing.
• 5+ years of experience in the Property & Casualty insurance industry.
• 3+ years of hands-on experience with Guidewire software (PolicyCenter, BillingCenter, etc.).
• Strong proficiency in data integration, data management, and data quality practices.
• Solid understanding of Microsoft Azure data services and cloud architecture.
• Practical knowledge of Agile development methodologies.
• Proficient in GOSU language, Guidewire configuration, and development using Guidewire tools and accelerators.
• Strong experience in Guidewire application development and predefined plugins.
• Familiarity with Guidewire batch processes and product configuration (PC/BC).

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable data solutions within the Guidewire DataMart environment.
• Implement robust ETL pipelines and integration workflows using Azure cloud services.
• Collaborate with business analysts, developers, and QA teams to gather requirements and deliver high-quality solutions.
• Ensure data integrity, quality, performance, and security across all data platforms.
• Optimize data workflows and troubleshoot issues to support analytics and reporting needs.
• Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for data architecture and ETL processes.
• Lead performance monitoring and tuning of data services in production.

Preferred Skills:

• Guidewire Cloud Platform experience and Guidewire ACE certification.
• Familiarity with Guidewire PMT tool.
• Experience coding RESTful APIs and integrating with external systems.
• Knowledge of data governance, compliance standards, and best practices.
• Ability to read code in multiple languages and reverse engineer existing solutions.
• Experience with DevOps and Agile tools: Git, Bitbucket, Jenkins, Jira, Confluence.
• Demonstrated thought leadership and commitment to staying current with Guidewire trends and technologies.
