Job Title: Guidewire ClaimCenter - Lead Configuration Developer

Job Summary/Objective: As a Guidewire ClaimCenter Configuration Specialist, you will be responsible for configuring and customizing Guidewire ClaimCenter to meet the specific requirements of our claim management processes. Your expertise in ClaimCenter and the ACE certification will play a vital role in implementing and integrating claim-handling functionalities. The ideal candidate preferably has experience with the Guidewire Cloud Platform (GWCP) to leverage cloud capabilities for enhanced claim management.

Responsibilities:

  1. Collaborate with business analysts, developers, and project managers to gather and analyze business requirements for claim management functionalities.
  2. Utilize your Guidewire ClaimCenter expertise to configure, customize, and integrate the application to meet our client’s unique needs.
  3. Lead the design, development, and implementation of claim handling rules, workflows, and product definitions within the Guidewire ClaimCenter platform.
  4. Perform hands-on configuration tasks to ensure the successful deployment and integration of claim management systems.
  5. Requirement Elicitation – Have a clear understanding of Client requirement(s) and have a technical perspective – aligned with Guidewire OOTB flow.
  6. Customizing the Guidewire Product – Ability to comprehend functional requirement and implement the required customization of the product in terms of UI flow.
  7. Proficiency in Data Model Development, Business Logic (Rules) Development, PCF Screen (User Interface) Development, and development using Gosu for Classes and Enhancements.
  8. Experienced in handling requirements related to LOB Mapping, Localization for different Locales, etc.
  9. Familiarity with Guidewire Testing (GT) Framework.
  10. Participate and conduct code reviews – provide valuable design and implementation suggestions to the team.
  11. Extensive experience in GOSU scripting - including good understanding of Guidewire XML, XSD structures and relevant working experience with SOAP / REST web services.
  12. Development experience in Guidewire ClaimCenter and demonstrate GW Product implementation experience from inception through implementation.
  13. Provide technical support and troubleshooting expertise to resolve configuration-related issues.
  14. Collaborate with the Guidewire Cloud Platform team to leverage cloud-based capabilities and ensure seamless integration with ClaimCenter.

Experience:

  1. Minimum 6 years of hands-on experience in configuring Guidewire ClaimCenter for P&C Insurance clients.
  2. Guidewire Cloud Platform experience is highly desirable.
  3. Proficient in Guidewire configuration tools, frameworks, and Guidewire studio.
  4. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with stakeholders and team members.
  5. Ability to work independently as well as in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
  6. Detail-oriented and committed to delivering high-quality work.

Qualifications and Skills:

  1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  2. ACE certification in Guidewire ClaimCenter is value adding.
