Job Summary/Objective:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Guidewire BillingCenter Configuration Senior Developer to join our team and contribute to the successful implementation of our projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Guidewire BillingCenter configuration, possess a mandatory ACE certification, and preferably have experience with the Guidewire Cloud Platform.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including business analysts, developers, and QA, to gather and analyze business requirements related to billing functionalities.
- Lead the configuration and customization of the Guidewire BillingCenter to meet client needs and project objectives.
- Conduct hands-on configuration and ensure the successful implementation of billing rules, billing plans, and payment plans within the Guidewire BillingCenter application.
- Provide expertise in resolving billing-related issues, troubleshooting, and performing root cause analysis to identify and implement solutions.
- Design and implement Guidewire solutions effectively.
- Develop and deploy code using advanced CI/CD techniques.
- Extensively configure Guidewire BillingCenter areas such as PCF, Gosu, Business Rules, Invoicing, Billing Types, Charge Distributions, Payments, Delinquency, and Commissions.
- Familiarity with Guidewire Testing (GT) Framework.
- Address business needs by utilizing out-of-the-box functionality creatively.
- Strong skills in Gosu and Java, and proficiency with Guidewire Studio.
- Participate in Proof of Concepts, and understand Guidewire cloud standards and design principles.
- Demonstrate expertise in DevOps and Agile frameworks and tools.
- Assist in designing and developing billing-related enhancements, ensuring compliance with standards and best practices.
- Work closely with project managers to deliver projects on time and within budget, maintaining high quality.
- Collaborate with testing teams to develop and execute test plans.
- Provide training and support to end-users for smooth transition post-implementation.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to BillingCenter and its integrations.
Experience:
- Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience configuring Guidewire BillingCenter.
- Experience with Guidewire Cloud Platform is highly desirable.
- Strong understanding of P&C Insurance industry billing processes.
- Proficient with Guidewire configuration tools, Studio, and frameworks.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Effective communication skills, verbal and written.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- Detail-oriented with a focus on quality.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
- Mandatory ACE certification in Guidewire BillingCenter.
