Job summary

Weatherford is seeking a Repair and Maintenance Technician - Guide Shop (Artificial Lift) in Oklahoma to perform hands-on inspection, repair, and refurbishment of field tools. You will follow technical manuals and work instructions, handling tasks from receipt to reassembly while maintaining safety and quality standards.

The role involves operating tools and machinery, documenting processes, and coordinating with the R&M team to ensure timely readiness for the next assignment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Basic computer skills for data entry and documentation.
• Basic mathematics for measurements and calculations.
• Perform maintenance, repair, troubleshooting, and monitoring of equipment.
• Valid CDL is a plus.
• Good reading and writing skills; ability to follow policies.

Responsibilities

• Participates in daily operations and safety meetings; follows JHA protocols.
• Maintains equipment, facilities, and work area in safe condition.
• Repairs machines and equipment using hand tools and measuring devices.
• Inspects parts using calipers, micrometers, and other measuring tools.
• Follows maintenance processes: unloading, disassembly, cleaning, testing, painting, assembly, loading, and storage.
• Updates work orders, forms, checklists as required.
• Clock in/out of the Work Order Time tracking system.
• Uses lifting equipment; certified for forklift and cranes when required.
• Receives shipments and prepares them for dispatch with proper documentation.
• Supports LEAN initiatives and continuous efficiency improvements.
• Reports equipment failures and troubleshooting needs to R&M management.
• Shows social orientation and teamwork.
