Job summary

Raytheon is seeking a Guidance Section Technical Lead for the Stinger Block I Production Program in Tucson, AZ. This onsite role leads a multidisciplinary team, interfaces with stakeholders, and ensures technical rigor across all Guidance Sections.

You will coordinate with suppliers, government customers, and IPTs to deliver on schedule. Preferred candidates have STEM degrees and 8+ years of hardware engineering leadership, with strong program management and risk-mitigation skills.

Qualifications

• Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) required.
• Minimum of 8 years of relevant experience.
• Experience leading a hardware engineering team.
• Experience with program management tools and risk management.

Responsibilities

• Lead a multi-disciplinary team across GS to deliver guidance sections on schedule and with technical rigor.
• Interface with internal/external stakeholders, suppliers, and government customers.
• Provide technical leadership and direction to IPTs and SMEs; review tests, data, and CDRLs.
• Manage engineering support for production deliverables with challenging schedules.
• Oversee Failure Investigations and corrective actions.
• Mentor team members and communicate status to leadership.
