Job summary

Berkeley Charter Education Association in Goose Creek, SC is seeking a dedicated Guidance Counselor to provide comprehensive counseling to students, including academic guidance, career planning, and personal/social development.

You will collaborate with teachers, families, and community resources, maintain confidential student records, participate in assessments, and provide crisis intervention when needed.

Qualifications

Job description

Position Overview:
The Guidance Counselor provides comprehensive counseling services to students, including academic guidance, career planning, and personal/social development. This role involves collaborating with staff, families, and community resources to support student success.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide individual and group counseling to students.

Assist students in developing academic and career plans.

Physical Requirements

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to communicate effectively; sit, stand, walk, and use hands to handle or feel objects, tools, or controls.
