Job summary

The Boeing Company is seeking an Associate or Experienced Guidance and Control Engineer (Level 2 or 3) in St. Charles, Missouri to support diverse Weapons programs within the BDS SIWS organization.

The role covers requirements capture, design, modeling, simulation and testing across multiple flight regimes and platforms. Candidates should have a BS in a related field, 2+ years in Guidance/Control, 1+ year MATLAB/Simulink experience and proficiency in C/C++ or Python.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology, Computer Science or related field.
• 2+ years of experience or coursework with Guidance or Control systems for aircraft, missiles, spacecraft or similar vehicles.
• 1+ years of experience using MATLAB/Simulink or MATRIXx to model systems.
• 1+ years of experience with one or more programming languages (C, C++, Python, MATLAB, etc.).

Responsibilities

• Gather and define system level requirements for Guidance and Control systems or missions/trajectories.
• Perform design and analysis of Guidance and Control systems, simulations, models and tools.
• Support design reviews, analyses, simulations and testing to ensure delivery of products meeting requirements.

The Boeing Company is actively seeking an Associate or Experienced Guidance and Control (G&C) Engineer (Level 2 or 3) in St. Charles, Missouri to support our Weapons programs.

Within the Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) Space, Intelligence & Weapon Systems (SI&WS) organization, the Weapons business is growing with multiple ongoing production and development programs serving the US Air Force, US Navy, US Army, and international customers. Selected candidates will work a wide range of Weapons programs that will provide state of the art G&C algorithms, performance analysis and simulation solutions to our customers, and will have visibility across the Boeing enterprise into modern G&C and simulation development methods. Position Responsibilities:

• Gather and define system level requirements for Guidance and Control systems or missions/trajectories
• Perform design & analysis of Guidance and Control systems, simulations, models & tools
• Support design reviews, analyses, simulations and component / system testing to ensure delivery of products that meet or exceed customer requirements and expectations
• Support troubleshooting of delivered product operational / service anomalies and incidents

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/ Experience):

• Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology (including Manufacturing Technology), Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry or non-US equivalent qualifications directly related to the work statement
• 2+ years of experience or coursework working with aircraft, missile, spacecraft, autonomous platform or similar vehicle Guidance or Control systems
• 1+ years of experience using Matlab/Simulink or MATRIXx to model systems
• 1+ years of experience with one or more of the following programming languages (C, C++,Python, Matlab, etc.)

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

• Experienced (Level 3): 5+ years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
• Active Secret U.S. Security Clearance
• Experience or coursework in Modern and Optimal Control Theory
• Experience or coursework with simulation and / or system/component modeling
• Experience or coursework with Kalman Filter design, estimation techniques
• Experience or coursework with implementing algorithms in real time systems

Associate (Level 2) Summary pay range: $93,500 - $126,500

Experienced (Level 3) Summary pay range: $115,600 - $156,400
