Job summary

APCON is seeking a Software Engineer - GUI Developer to join our development group on site in Plano, TX. You will design, implement, and test GUI features in HTML5/Angular within a small, collaborative team.

You should bring hands-on UI experience, strong communication, and familiarity with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, AngularJS, and RESTful services. Experience with PHP, Bootstrap, TypeScript, and tooling like Webpack is a plus.

Qualifications

• 3+ years hands-on UI development using HTML5/AngularJS or Adobe Flash/Flex.
• BS degree in EE or CS preferred; equivalent training/experience.

Responsibilities

• Designs, implements, debugs, and tests GUI software in HTML5/Angular.
• Works with product management to understand and implement GUI requirements.
• Helps resolve issues and improve performance with existing code with QA.
• Collaborates with QA to ensure quality and test coverage.
• Creates documentation and test cases for software development.
• Develops feature enhancements and supports existing product lines.
• Works independently and in a team to meet release cycles.
