Job summary

INTOWN SUITES in Arlington, TX is seeking a dedicated Housekeeper to maintain clean and welcoming guest spaces. The role covers guest rooms, hallways, laundry areas, and common spaces to meet cleanliness standards and guest expectations.

The ideal candidate can follow procedures, manage time efficiently, and respond to guest needs with superior service while supporting a safe, comfortable stay for all guests. Training will be provided and schedules offer consistency for full-time work.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of housekeeping and laundry procedures and techniques.
• Ability to follow instructions, directions and meet deadlines.
• Ability to clean the minimum required rooms per shift.
• Ability to scrub and scour surfaces and reach overhead.
• Ability to rotate housekeeping tasks as needed.
• Ability to visually inspect cleanliness and presentation.
• Ability to manage multiple activities under time pressure.

Responsibilities

• Clean guest rooms according to standard operating procedures.
• Remove trash and debris from guest rooms and surrounding areas.
• Ensure areas meet company cleanliness standards even if not assigned cleaning area.
• Clean bathrooms including tubs, toilets, sinks, lights, and replace linens as needed.
• Clean kitchen/dining areas including fridge, microwave, sinks, counters and tables.
• Vacuum and wash floors according to procedures.
• Dust and polish furnishings and appliances.
• Maintain exterior room appearance by cleaning siding, A/C grills, doors and windows.
• Notify Head Guest Room Attendant of room readiness, restock supplies, and report concerns.
