Job summary

WaterWalk Hospitality is seeking a diligent Hotel Housekeeper to maintain clean guest rooms and common areas, replenishing amenities and ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness and guest satisfaction. This role requires strong attention to detail, the ability to work independently, and a commitment to providing excellent service.

The position includes room cleaning, linen management, and interaction with guests to enhance their stay, while adhering to safety and sanitation policies.

Qualifications

• Previous housekeeping experience in a hotel or similar environment preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
• Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and equipment is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Room Cleaning: Clean and sanitize guest rooms according to the hotel's standards, including making beds, cleaning bathrooms, dusting, vacuuming, and replenishing amenities.
• Ensure all rooms are stocked with towels, toiletries, and coffee/tea supplies.
• Report maintenance issues or damages to the appropriate department for prompt resolution.
• Common Area Maintenance: Clean and maintain hallways, lobbies, elevators, and public restrooms.
• Linen & Laundry Management: Collect, sort, and transport linens and towels to the laundry area.
• Guest Interaction: Respond to guest requests and inquiries promptly and courteously.
• Compliance & Safety: Follow all safety and sanitation policies and procedures.
• Team Collaboration: Collaborate with other housekeeping team members to ensure timely cleaning.
