Job summary

Courtyard Fort Worth Stockyards is seeking a dedicated Housekeeping Associate to maintain guest rooms and public areas in a clean, orderly condition. You will follow established cleaning procedures, assist guests, and support hotel operations with a professional demeanor.

The role requires standing and lifting abilities, flexibility to work any shift including weekends, and the ability to learn hotel systems such as Quore and Hotel Effectiveness.

Qualifications

• Prior housekeeping experience in lodging, housing, hotels, hospitals, or care facilities preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Ability to pass appropriate security clearances and follow company policy.

Responsibilities

• Daily duties include cleaning vacant rooms to guest-ready status within brand standards and timelines.
• Maintain a crisp, clean, professional appearance and grooming.
• Follow all cleaning procedures per training checklist and brand standards.
• Perform general cleaning procedures every 90 days.
• Report discrepancies to the supervisor promptly.
• Assist in maintaining other hotel areas in clean, orderly condition (breakroom, restrooms, public areas).
• Respond to guest requests and inquiries immediately and courteously.
• Know and follow emergency procedures for guest and associate safety.
• Operate within safety and security guidelines and protect guest privacy.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
