Job summary

EconoLodge of Middlesboro is seeking energetic housekeeping staff to uphold cleanliness standards in guest rooms and public areas, including lobby and breakfast zones. You will follow procedures, assist with deep cleaning, and work as part of a team to ensure a healthy, inviting environment for guests.

Applicants should be able to lift up to 50 pounds, stand for long periods, and be flexible to work nights, weekends or holidays as needed. Safety and teamwork are emphasized.

Qualifications

• Basic reading, writing and math abilities are used often.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and push/pull medium to large weights.
• Frequently standing and moving about the facility.
• Team-oriented with ability to work alone when needed.
• Must communicate well with guests and colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Clean and service rooms and areas to established standards and procedures.
• May clean kitchen areas, refrigerators, coffee/tea makers and dining ware.
• Wear safety equipment and follow department regulations.
• Greet guests and acknowledge service needs; report completion or issues.
• Assist with deep cleaning projects and turndown duties when required.
• Maintain supplies, minimize waste, and log lost and found items.
