Job summary

Highgate Hotels is seeking a Room Attendant to maintain clean and attractive guestrooms and provide attentive, courteous service to all guests at SpringHill Suites Colorado Springs North Air Force Academy. Location: 1320 Republic Drive, Colorado Springs, CO 80921.

The role involves thorough cleaning of guestrooms, replenishing supplies, reporting maintenance needs, and ensuring guest satisfaction. This on-site position offers hourly compensation and benefits for full-time staff.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent; hospitality experience preferred.
• Must be able to exert up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 20 pounds frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects.
• Ability to stand during entire shift.
• Must be able to effectively communicate both verbally and written, with all level of employees and guests in an attentive, friendly, courteous and service oriented manner.

Responsibilities

• Thoroughly clean guestrooms according to standards.
• Complete all pre-cleaning duties, including guest supplies, cleaning supplies, and linen for housekeeping cart setup.
• Remove all trash and dirty linen from guestrooms and hallways.
• Keep all hallways, public areas and closets clean, neat and vacuumed
• Restock housekeeping cleaning cart for next day's use.
• Replenish chemical bottles.
• Report missing items from room to Housekeeping Supervisor/Manager.
• Report maintenance repairs to Housekeeping Supervisor/Manager.
• Handle items for Lost and Found according to standards.
• Ensure overall guest satisfaction.
