Job summary

JL Hospitality Management is seeking a Room Attendant to maintain clean, comfortable guest rooms and ensure brand standards are met. Responsibilities include making beds, replenishing supplies, and reporting maintenance needs to maintain inviting spaces.

The ideal candidate is dependable, detail-oriented, and capable of working with little supervision. This role requires flexibility to work weekends/holidays and contributes to a welcoming guest experience.

Qualifications

• Previous hotel housekeeping or cleaning experience preferred, but not required.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness.
• Ability to work independently and complete assigned rooms efficiently.
• Ability to learn and follow established cleaning and room standards.
• Ability to safely use cleaning products and housekeeping equipment.
• Ability to communicate effectively with guests and team members.
• Dependable and able to consistently report to work as scheduled.
• Ability to work weekends and holidays based on business needs.

Responsibilities

• Clean assigned guestrooms according to hotel and applicable brand standards.
• Make beds and replace linens as required.
• Clean and sanitize bathrooms, showers, tubs, toilets, sinks, and other surfaces.
• Dust furniture, fixtures, and guestroom surfaces.
• Vacuum, sweep, and mop floors as needed.
• Remove trash, used linens, towels, and guest amenities.
• Replenish towels, linens, toiletries, and other guestroom supplies.
• Inspect guestrooms for cleanliness and presentation before completing each room.
• Report maintenance concerns, damaged items, safety issues, or missing items to the appropriate supervisor.
• Update or communicate room status according to hotel procedures.
• Respond promptly and professionally to reasonable guest requests.
• Follow established guest privacy, security, Lost and Found, and room-entry procedures.
• Properly use and store cleaning products, chemicals, and equipment.
• Follow all cleaning, sanitation, and safety procedures.
