Newport Hospitality Group is seeking a dedicated Room Attendant to prepare guestrooms according to brand standards. You will make beds, clean bathrooms, vacuum, dust, and restock amenities while maintaining attention to detail.

This physically active role offers training for those new to housekeeping, with opportunities for career growth and team collaboration. Weekend and holiday availability are required due to hotel business needs.

Qualifications

• Previous housekeeping experience is a plus, but we're happy to train the right person.
• Strong attention to detail and pride in a job well done.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Comfortable with physically demanding work, including bending, lifting, pushing carts, and standing for extended periods, with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Availability to work weekends and holidays, as hotel business requires.

Responsibilities

• Clean and prepare guestrooms according to hotel and brand standards.
• Make beds, clean bathrooms, vacuum, dust, and restock guest amenities.
• Report maintenance concerns, lost items, and safety issues.
• Work efficiently to complete assigned rooms while maintaining attention to detail.
• Follow proper cleaning, chemical handling, and safety procedures.
• Support your housekeeping team and assist where needed.
