Job summary

Tides Folly Beach is seeking a friendly Bell Person to welcome guests and assist with luggage during check-in and check-out, while guiding guests to rooms and describing features and local attractions.

Responsibilities include luggage storage, package delivery, coordination with other departments, and maintaining a clean lobby. Prior hotel experience preferred; must lift 30 pounds and work outdoors as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Previous hotel-related experience preferred.
• Able to lift 30 pounds and work outdoors as needed.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests politely and assist with luggage.
• Setup and breakdown of meeting rooms.
• Coordinate with other departments professionally.
• Suggest local attractions and restaurants to guests.
• Communicate day-to-day issues to other shifts.
• Maintain lobby and hotel grounds in a clean, orderly state.
• Control parking lot access.
• Perform other duties as required.
