Do you have a Bachelor's Degree in any field and enjoy helping others, variety in your day, and want to make a positive impact in your community? If so, the IU13 Guest Teacher Training Program might be the perfect fit for you! We're excited to welcome individuals who are curious, compassionate, and ready to support students across Lancaster and Lebanon counties. No prior classroom experience required. We'll give you everything you need to feel confident stepping into a classroom.

What This Program Offers

• One day, in‑person training to prepare you for Substitute Teaching
• Support in obtaining your Emergency Permit through the Pennsylvania Department of Education
• The opportunity to support students and teachers as a Substitute in participating school districts and IU13 programs
• Total flexibility: choose when and where you work

• September 15, 2026 – IU13 Lebanon, One Cumberland Street
• November 12, 2026 – IU13 Lebanon, One Cumberland Street
• January 14, 2027 – IU13 Lancaster, Burle Conference Center
• March 18, 2027 – IU13 Lebanon, One Cumberland Street

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree
• $30 registration fee prior to training
• Additional requirements will be needed, but don't worry we'll guide you through each step!
